Zendaya is now a Spurs fan!

Zendaya has been in the public eye for the last few days. The Hollywood star was just named the ‘The Best Actress’ in a drama series for the show Euphoria. The TV series revolves around Zendaya, who plays the character of a teenager who is a drug addict. This teenager is struggling to cope with the social world. Zendaya received a lot of praise and appreciation after winning a Critics Choice Award.

While this was on, English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur released a video on their social media handles. The video was about when Zendaya and Tom Holland met with Son Heung-min. In the video, it was quite a joyous atmosphere and both Hollywood celebrities were very happy to meet Son. Tom Holland took up the responsibility of introducing everyone on his side to Son.

After the warm greeting, Son gave Zendaya a small gift hamper. It looked like more of an official gift from the club because the hamper had the Tottenham Hotspur logo on it. The Hollywood star looked at the hamper and had a broad smile on her face. Tom Holland tops up the moment by saying, “You’re now a Spurs fan”. Zendaya immediately replies, “I know!”. Son jokingly confirms the news too by calling Zendaya a Spurs fan.

Zendaya is currently getting all the love in the world from her fans. Additionally, the Tottenham Hotspur fanbase is also very welcoming to new fans. However, this isn’t the first time Zendaya and Holland were in a soccer-related atmosphere. A month ago, the celebrity duo also explained why they prefer soccer over American football.

Soccer is better than American football!

The celebrity duo was doing a bunch of fun shoots for the LADbible YouTube channel. The celebrity duo was playing ‘Agree to Disagree’ in an attempt to put a close to some of the ‘internet’s biggest ever debates’. One of the statements was ‘American football is better than soccer’. Zendaya and Holland, both of them, disagreed with the statement immediately.

Zendaya opened by saying that she felt American football was very dangerous. Holland then weighs in by saying that he would never understand why everyone called it football. The simple reason is that in American ‘football’ players rarely use their feet to play the game. Zendaya then burst out laughing after Holland suggested that American football should be called throwball.

Holland concluded by saying that he felt soccer is the greatest sport of all time. He also felt that soccer is the ‘worlds’ sport. Zendaya didn’t say much but she rightfully nodded in agreement all the way. The celebrity duo then spoke about their experience when they met Messi and Mbappe at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in 2021. Tom Holland also revealed how he tried to convince Mbappe to join Tottenham Hotspur.
