Months before parting ways with his long-time girlfriend, Pique once revealed that there was something better than being intimate with Shakira. He said that he would rather spend time on the pitch than in the bedroom.

During his gigantic career in Spain, there were quite a few memorable moments. But in a recent interview, he shockingly claimed that he doesn’t think about his glorious soccer career anymore.

He revealed, “I don’t miss football at all. It is a stage of my life that has passed. When you take the decision to leave, you take it. Looking back is of little use to me. It went incredibly well, better than expected. I’m very proud of what I’ve experienced”. Pique was quite ‘the leader’ on the pitch too. But he once made an eye-opening comment about Shakira.

The host of the interview was a bit bemused by his comment. He reconfirmed whether Pique would spend hours with RCD Espanyol fans over making love. The soccer veteran affirmatively nodded to his question while having a chuckle.
