After his issues with Erik Ten Hag, the winger does not have any future with the club. The only reason the club has sent him on loan is, should he do well, the Red Devils can ask for an increased transfer fee. It is worth remembering that the club spent a fee close to $100 million on his signing. Hence, the Red Devils want him to flourish on loan. At the moment, Dortmund is paying a four million fee and a portion of his wages for the loan stint.

On the other side, Jadon Sancho was in a good mood as he reunited with his former teammates. But, as far as Erik Ten Hag is concerned, the January transfer window could be a huge challenge for him.

Even after the takeover of INEOS led by Sir, Jim Ratcliffe, the club has limited funds in the January transfer window. The reason is most of the funds from the minority takeover will be put into expanding the stadium and improving other facilities. Hence, signing new players could be put on the back burner. But, the Red Devils could be forced to make moves.

According to reports, the club could sell Casemiro and Raphael Varane for the right price. The duo is attracting interest from Al Nassr and other Saudi clubs. But, should they leave, this will provide Ten Hag with plenty of funds to replace the duo.
