The January transfer window for Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United fans has kicked off. They have been able to loan out fringe winger Jadon Sancho on loan to Borussia Dortmund. But the Red Devils boss has no bad feelings towards the England international. He has wished him well on his loan stint for the rest of the season.
The United fans will now hope that after the departure of the 23-year-old, a new player arrives. But, it will be interesting how the Premier League giants will approach the transfer window under new ownership.

For the last several months, Jadon Sancho has been out of the Manchester United team. It was clear that he would sign for another club in January. Well, the club is none other than his former club, Borussia Dortmund. The winger has signed on loan for the rest of the season. Erik Ten Hag, who refused to integrate back Sancho into the plans, was asked to comment on his exit. Ahead of the game against Spurs, speaking on the winger, he said, “I hope he is doing well”. On the other side, the 23-year-old will hope that he can rediscover his form and make an instant impact for the German giants.

After his issues with Erik Ten Hag, the winger does not have any future with the club. The only reason the club has sent him on loan is, should he do well, the Red Devils can ask for an increased transfer fee. It is worth remembering that the club spent a fee close to $100 million on his signing. Hence, the Red Devils want him to flourish on loan. At the moment, Dortmund is paying a four million fee and a portion of his wages for the loan stint.
On the other side, Jadon Sancho was in a good mood as he reunited with his former teammates. But, as far as Erik Ten Hag is concerned, the January transfer window could be a huge challenge for him.

But, the Red Devils could be forced to make moves.
According to reports, the club could sell Casemiro and Raphael Varane for the right price. The duo is attracting interest from Al Nassr and other Saudi clubs. But, should they leave, this will provide Ten Hag with plenty of funds to replace the duo.
