The drama reached new heights when the music superstar released a hard-hitting diss track, ‘BZRP Music Session #53’ earlier this year about Pique. The hit song instantly saw a high viewership on YouTube and Spotify. Even after 3 months, the song continues to be a favorite among her fans. Additionally, a well-known comedian has now spoken out about the song.

Shakira receives a spicy comment for her diss track
Recently, Colombian celebrity Fabiola Posada shared her views on the diss track on a television program, reported by Semana. She commented on two particular lines of the song, “Women no longer cry, women get paid” and “This is for you to be mortified, to chew and swallow, swallow and chew”.
The celebrity took the humorous route and joked about the cheeky lyrics of the song. She said, “I don’t like the part about women billing Shakira’s song, I like the chew, swallow, swallow, chew part”. The comments of Posada, made in jest, brought some much-needed positivity to the whole drama.
Messy breakups have always been a topic of gossip. And this Shakira – Gerard Pique narrative has been the most popular in recent times. So much so that it even caught the attention of world-renowned singer, Adele.
What did Adele have to say about the drama?
Adele, last month, put on a performance at a Las Vegas residency. During the segment, Adele spoke in glowing terms about Shakira’s performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier that month. Additionally, she took a humorous jab at Shakira’s ex-husband Pique, saying “Her ex-husband is in trouble!”
