Despite Portugal’s disappointing exit from the last World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo returned triumphantly to their starting lineup during the Euro 2024 qualifiers. He has already netted four goals in five games, solidifying his status as a football legend and making history as the first player to appear in 200 international matches.
As of now, Ronaldo is back in Portugal, gearing up for his team’s UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers. The Selecao das Quinas is set to face Slovakia on 8th September and Luxembourg three days later.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo stay for the 2026 World Cup?
Ronaldo’s form for his club side this season has been scorching. After scoring six times in as many games during Al-Nassr’s triumphant Arab Club Champions Cup campaign, he has continued to shine in the Saudi Pro League. In just four games, he has amassed six goals and four assists.

Notably, he provided a couple of assists in the Saudi Pro League clash against Al Hazem, marking the first time in his career that he has assisted in four consecutive games. The Portuguese legend still has two years left on his contract with Al Nassr and has already bagged an impressive 20 goals and seven assists in 24 games for the Saudi Pro League giants.
