Nunes discussed, “I sometimes don’t know if it’s good to know Cristiano Ronaldo or not to know Cristiano Ronaldo”. Nunes further elaborated on her thoughts, explaining how the obsession with Ronaldo can become one-dimensional. “From a moment when you are in a sphere that is minimally close to Cristiano Ronaldo, they only talk about him to you,” she said.
Nunes further added, “You become the friend, the girlfriend, the supposed girlfriend, the possible girlfriend, the possible friend, for the rest of your life”. In other words, having a connection to Ronaldo brings with it a never-ending series of questions, assumptions, and rumors. The TV presenter then compared knowing Ronaldo to that of an “ex-boyfriend who doesn’t let go of us, isn’t it? Always the forever ex-girlfriend”.
In conclusion, it’s clear that the fame and influence of Cristiano Ronaldo have a dark side. Nunes has raised an interesting point about the realities of having any connection to Ronaldo.
