Meanwhile, a renowned journalist has made the point that Neymar was living in the shadow at PSG.

He also made the point that Mbappe surpassed the Brazilian individually last season. This meant that he could achieve nothing in Paris Saint Germain for the present and future. Eventually leaving became a priority for the Brazilian. He also feels that Paris Saint Germain did not treat him well in the last few years.

However, what followed was a sporting project that went high initially but got down in the last few seasons. PSG also signed Mbappe to bring them to the Champions League. Hence, a journalist has claimed that Mbappe became better than Neymar.

Renowned journalist Juca Kfouri has claimed that, “Neymar rarely played football for the team. He invariably played for himself. That’s what we saw at PSG, and unfortunately for him, Mbappé even surpassed him individually.” This also made Neymar leave PSG this summer transfer window to join Al Hilal. The Brazilian is now happy with his new club.
