As per the tweet from Le Parisian, Kylian Mbappe did not appreciate the tactical change made by the club’s manager at the end of their outing against Dortmund. Consequently, he did not hesitate to show his annoyance directly at Enrique. He believed that the attitude of his club was totally unacceptable, as the Spanish soccer manager asked the players to accept the draw. Furthermore, he asked his players to calm down even after Milan took first place.

The tactic used by Enrique was disheartening to the Frenchman, who was aiming to push his team further to get first place. Nonetheless, the Spanish manager understood Mbappe’s frustration and addressed the issue during the post-match press conference. He confessed that during the match, his only focus was to put his team in a safe zone instead of outdoing Dortmund in the dying minutes.

However, PSG had five chances to score a goal against Dortmund. After losing these five chances, Enrique felt it was stupid to go for a goal towards the end of the match. Furthermore, he accepted that, as a coach, he must handle the frustrations of his players. Interestingly, it’s not the first time the tensions between Mbappe and Enquire have come to light.

Luis Enrique in the crosshairs for giving freedom to the Frenchman

They felt Enrique’s decision to let Kylian Mbappe play as a center-forward was a colossal blunder. Soccer journalist Daniel Riolo pointed this out and claimed that the 24-year-old is best as a winger, and they should carry no more experiments in that part.
