According to the journalist Shakira, despite talking big about workers in her song, mistreated her cooks. The new accusations are a big blow for the singer who has found herself in deep waters this summer. This singer was already been accused in two tax fraud cases in Spain and has also been targeted for copying someone else in ‘El Jefe’.

An American journalist slammed Shakira for mistreating her employees

Following the release of her new track ‘El Jefe’ the singer has been slammed by American journalist Javier Ceriani. Javier, acting as the spokesperson of a former Shakira employee, claimed that the singer did not treat them with respect. According to Javier, despite Shakira raising her voice for the mistreated workers, she is the same as the bosses she’s slammed in her song.

“They complain that, for Shakira, there was no end to the work. It was 17 hours, cooking for a lot of people. One Sunday, they had cooked for 17 people and she wanted a chicken to be heated at 2 am. He told her: I can’t do it anymore. I’m not going to make you chicken. She automatically threw them out at 6:30 a.m and left them in the street.“

The recent claims join a string of accusations made against the singer. Shakira has been under the scanner this month after she was accused of tax fraud and plagiarism.
