Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag opened up about his players during his press conference, confirming the return of some notable players for the game against Wigan. However, the team has to make sure that they do not rush their players who have been out with their respective injuries for a while now.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag seemed to be in good spirits during his recent conference. The Dutchman provided multiple updates on his players who might make a return to the team in the coming weeks.

The Dutchman commented on Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez‘s availability, “Two class players. They will bring the team forward, we know that. We’re looking forward to their return to the team on matchday, but we have to wait for that. They still need some time to fully make their comeback.”

While there are doubts surrounding the duo’s return, Ten Hag was pretty confident surrounding a few other names on the bench. “Players are at the point to return on the grass to return on the pitch, like Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Mason Mount. There are players during January who will return back into the team.”

It will be interesting to see if the returning names can help the Dutchman turn things around. There has been a lot of pressure on the manager to get things back on track after a poor string of performances.
