Michael B Jordan has recently taken the task of designing the playing kit for AFC Bournemouth. Best known for his performances in films like Creed and Black Panther, the Cherries’ owner, Bill Foley, has officially confirmed the 36-year-old’s involvement in this venture.

Following his acquisition of Bournemouth in 2022, Foley even invited minority investors to get involved. Jordan, in particular, led a group of minority shareholders to contribute to the club. Now it seems that his involvement in the club extends beyond being a mere owner.

During a recent interview with CBS Sports Golazo, Bill Foley spoke highly of Michael B Jordan and called him a “great guy.” Moreover, he added, “He’s a very down-to-earth, common individual. He hasn’t got stars in his eyes. He loves football.”

Foley also highlighted the Hollywood star’s contributions to the team, particularly in terms of international marketing efforts and expanding their presence in the United States. As a remarkable twist, the American businessman revealed that Jordan has been involved in designing a kit, which according to Foley “will go on sale shortly.” However, he did not disclose whether it would be the home, away, or third kit.

The intrigue surrounding this mysterious uniform adds to its allure. In addition to this exciting announcement, Bill Foley provided fans with another reason for celebration by sharing an update on the injury status of USMNT star Tyler Adams.
