This year too, future stars of basketball are ready to showcase their talents, and one piece of news has got Rose Lavelle, NWSL teammate of Megan Rapinoe excited.

Xavier Musketeers have made their way to the NCAA tournament for the first time after a long wait from 2018. Their hard work has paid off in the form of a 3rd seed in the Midwest Region of the 68-team bracket. This news has brought excitement to the team’s fans, as well as USWNT star Rose Lavelle.

Rose Lavelle is a professional soccer player who plays for the OL Reigns in the NWSL. The same team Olympic gold medalist, Megan Rapinoe, plays for. Lavelle took to her Instagram story to share the news of Xavier’s seeding.

She did so by putting on three devil emojis next to it, signifying her support for the team. Lavelle was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the same place as the Musketeers. It is clear Lavelle is happy with the team’s achievement.
