Meanwhile, when Joel Beya insisted that De Bruyne was the best midfielder he saw in the Premier League, Walker said, “All-rounder Kevin, all-rounder, but David individually. David or I said it countless times, Dembele.” Walker also added his former Tottenham Hotspur mate, Mousa Dembélé to the list where they played four years together.

Ferdinand confirmed that Walker wasn’t the only one who thought that about David Silva. Ferdinand further said, “They all say this, they all say it, Owen Hargreaves said it,” adding to the reputation of the Spanish icon. Even though Erling Haaland and De Bruyne have won the treble for City, Silva’s contribution during the nascent phase was sensational.

Moreover, Pep Guardiola also hailed Silva by saying, “He is the best I have seen playing in the pockets. He was one of the players who allowed for the success of this team.” David Silva won four Premier League titles with City in his career, spanning ten years with 77 goals and 140 assists, making him one of the club’s biggest icons.
