Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al Nassr has not been having the best times lately. They started the month with a disappointing 3-0 loss against Al Hilal. In their most recent outing in the AFC Champions League, Al Nassr had to settle for a diminishing draw as Ronaldo and other significant players rested. It seems a particular Al Nassr player isn’t happy with his team.

“Seko is not happy,” midfielder Seko Fofana wrote on his Instagram story during a training session. This was before the Al Nassr-Al Riyadh match.

Seko Fofana’s unhappiness can indeed stem from the recent lackluster showings of his team. His public declaration of unhappiness may prompt concerns among fans, but it isn’t clear what he was referring to. Nonetheless, we cannot overlook the transfer rumors surrounding the 28-year-old.

If this wasn’t enough, it also turns out coach Luis Castro is unhappy with Fofana’s performance. As per rumors, Al Nassr will look for a new midfielder in the winter transfer window. Since the transfer window will open in a few weeks, Al Nassr and some of its stars have given way to certain transfer rumors.

According to reports, Seko Fofana is uncomfortable at Al Nassr and wants to leave the club. Moreover, the midfielder is also averse to the Saudi club’s leaders. Spanish giants Sevilla are reportedly eyeing the Fofana-Al Nassr situation at this juncture.

Rumors on Seko Fofana’s Al Nassr Future

Sevilla’s plans to land the Al Nassr star do not come as a surprise. Earlier, during Fofana’s stint with Ligue 1’s RC Lens, Sevilla tried to make a loan move for him. Sevilla, then, missed the opportunity, and Fofana left France for Saudi in the next transfer window. With another transfer window nearing, Sevilla might not waste their second chance to sign Fofana.

Only time will tell whether Fofana’s Instagram message was the aftermath of an underwhelming campaign or if his days as Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate are numbered. However, as per ‘365 Scores’, the player has not received any offers from Sevilla. Al Nassr’s coaches will evaluate Fofana’s situation.
