Media outlets across Saudi Arabia believe Cristiano is days away from finding his optimal fitness and will take to the field during the Riyadh Season Cup.

This is a surprising turn of developments, as the player was reportedly ruled out for the next two weeks. He has been absent from Al Nassr’s training sessions for the past few weeks after complaining of a muscular injury. However, it seems like the player has recovered in time and will be available to lead his team against Inter Miami.

Al Nassr pull out of China tour due to Cristiano’s injury

The Middle Eastern side was earlier forced to pull out from their scheduled tour of China this week. Al Nassr was expecting Cristiano to reach his optimal fitness before the friendly games, but had to withdraw at the last minute. The side informed fans of their decision in an official press conference while stating that the fans would be issued a full refund.

Cristiano also addressed the Chinese fans stating that he and his side were sorry but could not continue the tour because of his injury. The Al Nassr skipper however promised fans he would be back in the country and play in front of the fans in the near future.
