So, even the GOATs have to take no for an answer? Guess what? We’re talking about Al Nassr’s Portuguese soccer sensation Cristiano Ronaldo, whose Saudi club’s management recently decided to make an intriguing suggestion for their upcoming fixture with Al Fayha. As it turns out, the Al Nassr management wanted to delay the timing of their next fixture. Safe to say, they have a specific plan to dominate the soccer scenario!

The Al Nassr vs. Al Fayha matchup will be streamed live from the King Fahd International Stadium this Saturday. Ironically enough, the faceoff between the #3 and #8 Saudi Pro League clubs will begin at 4:00 PM (CET), coinciding with another historic match- the El Clasico. But what concerns Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr’s management is the timing of this fixture.

Notably, it coincides with the 4:15 PM (CET) El Clasico fixture featuring La Liga arch-rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona. Moreover, the #3 SPL club does not want to lose its European viewership. It only reignites the brewing opinion that the Knights of Najd are trying their best to capitalize on the Ronaldo hype. Therefore, Al Fayha took the high road and moved forward with their plans!

In order to tackle this and retain their viewership, the top guns in the Al Nassr management wanted to adjust the timings of this SPL fixture. However, according to an X tweet via @9NFCBALL, it looks like Al Fayha is least interested in the promotional tactics of their rivals.

The translated X tweet reads: “Urgent – SSC: Al-Feiha rejected Al Nassr’s request to delay the start of the match until 9 o’clock so as not to conflict with the Barcelona and Real Madrid Clasico!”

The Knights of Najd are eyeing yet another domination over their rivals. With Ronaldo as the driving force, they focus on extending their unbeaten streak after what we may dub a questionable start to this season for the club. But will they be able to continue their conquests?

Why Ronaldo might be eyeing vengeance at the upcoming Al Feiha fixture?

In the past few months, Al-Nassr has been on a winning streak since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker is in top form, boasting an impressive record of 11 goals in 9 games this season in the Saudi Pro League. However, one memory from their previous encounter with Al Fayha seems to linger, igniting Ronaldo’s desire for vengeance.

During their previous clash, Al Nassr struggled to secure a victory against Al Fayha. Frustration mounted as the Saudi club employed time-wasting tactics to run down the clock, clearly frustrating Ronaldo. In protest against these tactics, Ronaldo confronted Al Fayha’s Ali Al-Zaqaan, bluntly declaring, “You don’t want to play.”

Though both teams failed to score goals in that eventful match, it didn’t conclude without drama. After the final whistle, Ronaldo made a swift exit, heading straight down the tunnel without participating in the customary handshakes.
