Taylor Swift, one of the world’s most popular singers, is tied up with Real Madrid to perform her Eras tour at their throne, Santiago Bernabeu. If this isn’t enough to explode, there has been a recent revelation about this epic. According to reports, Swift’s upcoming performance has received approval to add another concert to the schedule.
The American singer has been making waves in the world of sports. The singer boosted the NFL’s viewership recently and helped generate a lot of revenue. Now the star is having a similar effect on Real Madrid.

Reports suggest that Santiago Bernabeu was not sufficient to hold the audience for Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour concert. According to Relevo, there have been a monstrous 450,000 requests to attend the concert, which may not be possible in one go. Hence, Real Madrid’s last league game could need a rescheduling, to which La Liga has given approval.

Swift’s concert is scheduled for May 30th this year at the newly renovated stadium, which has already been receiving various hosting requests apart from soccer. However, due to the demand of affluent fans, Swift will host another concert on May 29th, which will require expedited preparation. Hence, Real Madrid’s last game scheduled for May 26 could be pulled back to May 25.
Ideally, the All Too Well singer’s concert set-up requires three days, hence the request to move the game to a day earlier. Additionally, La Liga makes provision for its club to make extra revenue through such opportunities, with previous instances of allowing Atlético de Madrid to host rock legends, the Rolling Stones.

Real Madrid closing in on winning La Liga
Swift’s concert could just be a cherry on top for the Whites. The club is leading the La Liga table by 5 points with a game in hand and could celebrate the win with Swift’s concert in their den. Even though there are no reports, the concert in Madrid could attract a few stars to watch it.
