This last year has been very hard for me personally, but professionally, life has compensated me and my fans have taken care of that”. It seems like Shakira has gone through a lot in the past few months. However, the star has managed to bounce back strongly to focus on her music career. The star was one of the key attractions of the VMAs held this month.

With Shakira attending the event alongside her kids, it seems like former boyfriend Gerard Pique has some things to say, with the soccer star posting cryptic tweets on Twitter. Both Pique and Shakira have been involved in a feud over the custodial arrangements.

Colombian star still in a feud over children’s custody

There seems to be no end to the feud between Shakira and Gerard Pique. The duo have been unwilling to back down from their respective positions. Despite the court ruling in Shakira’s favor in the custodial rights case, the former soccer star is said to be displeased with the arrangements in place.

While Pique is allowed to meet the kids every ten days, the time zone difference between Spain and the United States is said to be Pique’s main issue. While the star wants to have the kids over at his place during the vacations in winter, the difference in vacation days has stopped both parties from making a concrete plan.

It will be interesting to see how the former couple decides to solve the issue. While both Pique and Shakira have come a long way after deciding to call it a day, even for the sake of their children, the two will have to make things work between themselves in the coming days.
