Looking at his characteristics, Victor Boniface suits ‘perfectly’ for Brighton & Hove Albion, considering the club’s identity and recruitment strategy. However, the Nigerian’s priority lies elsewhere, as he boldly declared, “I said to my agent that moving from Belgium to England was not for me. To be honest, I never liked the Premier League. I don’t think it aligns with my style. I love to play in Spanish and German leagues. However, when the time comes for me to come to England, I’ll not say no.”

Boniface elaborated on his preference by adding that he loved the Spanish and German league games. The Bayer Leverkusen star claimed that if he had to pick one, he would cast his vote for La Liga, expressing his desire to play in Spain in the future.

This surprising revelation now adds an intriguing layer to Boniface’s blossoming career, sparking debates among fans about his future.

Arsenal could still persuade Victor Boniface to join their ranks

Despite Boniface’s frank admission about his interest in the Premier League, Arsenal remains eager to acquire his services. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners remain undeterred, and eye the Bayer Leverkusen star as a solution to their number nine problems. The allure of sharing the pitch with rising stars like Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard might be enough to convince the Leverkusen star.

Considering his rise and Leverkusen’s table-topping form, it is unlikely that Xabi Alonso will let the youngster leave during this January window. As the saga unfolds, fans will be eagerly waiting to see where the Nigerian star will ply his trade next season.
