About a month ago, Shakira released an unexpected new track. That new song was not in collaboration with any big artist as compared to her diss track saga against Gerard Pique. Unlike previous diss tracks, Milan and Sasha were integral parts of the recording. Just hours ago, a popular journalist posted a video of himself and his daughter singing the song and Shakira’s reaction to it was as heartwarming as ever!
After cashing out more than $2.5 million from just one diss track, she decided to compose a peaceful track. Without a doubt, that song namely Acrostico garnered a lot of love from the fanbase.

Shakira’s reaction to a journalist and daughter duo singing her song
Acrostico as a song, is definitely one of a kind. That’s because the lyrics of the track aren’t dissing Gerard Pique. Instead, the singer and her kids sing about ‘forgiveness’ and ‘repair’ in the song. Even though it’s been more than a month since its release, Acrostico still garners a healthy chunk of views daily. Currently, the emotional song has crossed 153 million views on YouTube.
Undoubtedly, social media is full of covers of the same song by different music artists. While this video is not exactly a music cover, the reel involves an ever-famous journalist and his daughter singing the track. Cristian Sanchez recorded the singing video with his little one from inside the car. They sing a small portion of the song but the video is filled with emotions.

In fact, the reel has gone viral on social media with over 460K likes. The Colombian icon reacted to the video herself. She reposted their video on an Instagram story. Additionally, she wrote, “Please, I’m Dying!”, as translated by Google Translate. But this isn’t her latest song anymore. Just days ago, the singer unveiled ‘Copa Vacia’ in collaboration with Manuel Turizo.

Shakira raked in $2.5 million+ from just one diss track
Quite interestingly, Shakira decided to deal with her breakup differently. Months after her breakup stories had fizzled out of every social media forum, she lit the music industry on fire. That’s when she released her first diss track with Bizzarap. And that song drove the fans absolutely berserk. Together with the Argentine DJ, the Colombian icon broke four Guinness World Records and ten all by herself.

Five months since its release, the track has garnered more than 570 million views. At that time, a report once posted the breakup of her income from the Bizarrap diss track. $512K from YouTube and $1.2 million from Apple Music were the two platforms that generated the most income for her. From the looks of it, the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer is not putting a halt to her music career anytime soon.
