With just days left in the winter transfer window, the rumor mill has started to heat up. 1. Joshua Kimmich to Manchester City

The Bayern Munich superstar has been constantly linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium. Kimmich is reportedly frustrated with his situation with the Bavarian Giants and is looking for a way out of the club. The player has 18 months left in his contract with the defending Bundesliga champions and the side could cash out on the player if he refuses to renew the contract before June. However, a deal during the winter window seems just out of place at the moment.

2. Karim Benzema to Manchester United

Benzema could be the second big star to leave the Saudi Pro League following Jordan Henderson’s departure. The Frenchman is currently at odds with Al Ittihad head coach Marcelo Gallardo and is desperate to make a return to Europe. The Red Devils have emerged as the top club interested in his services but will have to ward off interest from rivals Chelsea if they make a move for the player. However, signing Benzema is not as easy as it sounds with the player commanding a massive paycheck which might be a deal-breaker.

Possibility: 35%

3. Kalvin Phillips to West Ham United

It seems like David Moyes will finally get his man in the coming days with Newcastle United pulling out from the race to sign Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips. The defensive midfielder has struggled for playing time at the Etihad and a loan move to the Hammers could be a great way for him to reignite his career.

4. Callum Wilson to Manchester United

With Newcastle looking to balance their books, and Erik ten Hag’s men in need of an additional striker, the Red Devils have turned their attention to Callum Wilson. Newcastle’s number nine could be a decent option for United who have struggled to find goals with Rasmus Hojlund up top. Wilson is a proven talent in the Premier League and will provide ten Hag with more options in the attacking third.

Possibility: 30%

5. Ivan Toney to Arsenal

Arsenal is in search of a striker with the side keen on bringing Brentford’s Ivan Toney into their ranks. The likes of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have failed to leave their impact on the side despite multiple opportunities. Toney will be returning to action following his ban and could be a great option for the Gunners in the final third.
