They say dreams always come true, one just needs to have the guts to see them through. One such dream came true yesterday in a UEFA Champions League faceoff. Although a very fresh story, the real foundation of this story dates back a couple of years. Back in 2020, when Barcelona faced Bayern Munich, they astonishingly defeated them 8-2.

Lionel Messi was heartbroken and had to deny a very overwhelming request to one Canadian starlet. However, three years later, that humble request was granted by the Argentinian magician, who once again was on the losing end of the pitch.

Bayern Munich faced off against PSG in a highly anticipated round of 16 first-leg matches of the Champions League. However, this match was a bit off for PSG. Coming from a defeat in Ligue 1 and a very unfortunate verbal altercation post-defeat. A lot of fans expected the Ligue 1 giants to brush up on the differences and play like the super team they are. Unfortunately, the French club succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at home as they gear up for the decisive second-leg tie in Germany.

Got the shirt of Lionel Messi

In 2020, when Bayern Munich faced Barcelona, no one expected it to be a one-sided landslide. They thrashed Barcelona 8-2. After the match was over Bayern starlet, Alphonso Davies tried to ask Lionel Messi for his shirt. The request was swiftly declined as he was heartbroken at the defeat. The Canadian international revealed this in an interview and vowed to get the shirt the next time he faced Lionel Messi.

Although Messi wasn’t wearing his iconic red-blue t-shit anymore, he did indeed get a shirt from the man himself. Last night was yet another heartbreaking one for the World Champion. He played for a full 90 minutes but wasn’t able to influence the game like he usually does. A 1-0 defeat left the star devastated as the club is one terrible night away from completely falling apart.
