The most likely scenario is Kylian Mbappe departing PSG for Real Madrid in 2024. While the French soccer club will not receive a transfer fee, they do have a strategy in place to maximize the likely exit. This was detailed by Juanfe Sanz in the show ‘El Chiringuito’.

He said, “Paris feels protected because Mbappé is committed and has made several compromises so that the club is profitable with an extension or with a departure. (…) In an agreement that would have been written, Mbappé would have guaranteed that his signing bonus in any club where he goes would arrive in the pockets of PSG.”

The pundit proclaimed that Mbappe would want a salary of $37 million net per annum, which would see him significantly surpass the current highest earner, Toni Kroos, as the German earns more than $25.5 million gross per annum. The critical aspect is that Mbappe’s salary would be after tax deductions, which indicates an amount of over $42.5 million gross annum. After all, players like Kylian Mbappe would not come cheap.
