In the post-match presser, Cristiano Ronaldo gave his thoughts after a scintillating display. The attacker said (translated via Google), “As I always say, I don’t follow these records, they follow me naturally.” Despite his incredible numbers, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner has always had a team-first mentality. He added, “If not this season, I’ll reach 900 goals next season.”

With that said, Cristiano Ronaldo and co have a golden opportunity in the King Cup. Al Nassr is set to take on Al Hilal for the title a win could be a major boost for the Knights of Najd ahead of a decisive upcoming season.
