Messi is one of the most influential athletes in the world. The Argentine has garnered over 425 million followers on the social media website.

However, the Argentine was banned from the platform for a few days after winning the World Cup. After more than a month, the Argentine told Urbana Play about the weird situation he found himself in after the World Cup. As per ESPN, Messi told Urbana Play, “My Instagram was blocked for a few days because of the amount of messages I received after winning the World Cup…I had a million messages on Instagram and they blocked me”.
