Welsh singer Charlotte Church recently praised the efforts of the owners of Wrexham A.F.C., actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Since taking over the Welsh club, Reynolds and McElhenney have demonstrated genuine and integrity actions and activities which have earned them the respect of the community.

In 2020, Hollywood superstars McElhenney and Reynolds took over the Welsh soccer club and quickly followed the newfound popularity. This season the team officially got promoted to the fourth division after winning the National League. On top of making the team a success, the duo has also made a positive impact off of the field, offering much to the local community.

According to The Mirror, Church recently shared her unique encounter with Reynolds and McElhenney. The singer was picked by Ryan and Rob to sing the Welsh national anthem on their documentary, ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. “[Ryan Reynolds] flew me and my kids out to New York,” Church said.

She then added, how she also wanted her 3 kids to be brought along, and they replied, “Yeah, sure, fine”. The mother of three also shared her gratefulness for the owners’ kindness and hospitality, “And then they got to meet him. And they were delicious. They were so kind, they’re so lovely”.

After such an act of kindness, it’s no wonder Charlotte herself had only kind words to say about Ryan and Rob. Church’s word of praise just didn’t stop there. She then went on to commend the Hollywood duo for what they have done towards Wales.
