The beginning of the season for Wrexham has not been the best

Unfortunately, Wrexham AFC’s 2023-24 season hasn’t gotten off to a great start. Their hopes of achieving back-to-back promotions are in jeopardy as they currently sit in 16th place in the league table. With only one victory in five matches, the team’s performance has been subpar. The same underwhelming result unfortunately also carried over to the EFL Cup.

Things looked positive after an impressive first-round win against Wigan Athletic through a penalty shootout. However, their momentum was halted in the second round when they fell short against Bradford City after another penalty shootout, losing 3-4. There is still optimism that the team’s new signing can help turn things around for Ryan Reynolds’ side.
