The competition among European strikers is getting greater and greater. Two of the top goal scorers of the current season have come up with some outstanding performances. Harry Kane may not be getting the same hype as Erling Haaland or other players like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe. But a former England legend recently considered him above Haaland!

Manchester City could be deemed a perfect place for a player like Haaland to fulfill his dreams. His individual brilliance and team strength won him the trophies he needed. But his rival on the far side has his opportunity now with Bayern Munich. Most importantly, to win trophies!

Kane is the new arrival in talk of the top European players. The striker at Tottenham Hotspur went under notice even though he had the performances. Haaland, on the other hand, filled the headlines of all the newspapers. But despite his consistent delivery, Rio Ferdinand called Harry Kane a better player than the Norwegian. Ferdinand stated in his podcast, “As a player, all-round player, Kane, I know I said that last season. I don’t know. I said that last season.”

Harry Kane has been a top scorer for Spurs for many years, but the star did not have the fortune to win any trophies. Haaland, on the other end, won the triple recently. But Ferdinand understands Kane to be more than a goal-scorer; he also adds value with the assists.

Haaland had a stellar Manchester connection, with 13 out of his 52 goals being facilitated by Kevin De Bruyne. A world-class midfield backed the Norwegian, with Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden playing a vital role. Kane scored a phenomenal 32 goals but ended up finishing 8th on the table last year. However, the star seems to have reached his final destination.

Harry Kane, the new star at Bayern Munich

The German club is currently one of the most feared clubs in soccer, with 11 consecutive league wins and six Champions League titles. Considering a reward-less spell in London, Kane will feel he can win at least a League trophy in Munich. The star is already a superpower at the club, with an astounding 22 goals in just 18 games.

The player already has a hat trick with a potential goal of the season from the center of the pitch. Haaland, on the other hand, is scoring goals for fun, having 19 goals in 20 games but three fewer assists than Kane. However, the England captain could be on his way to winning his first notable trophy this season. But Bayer Leverkusen could be a potential threat to the star’s aspiration.
