Cristiano Ronaldo has been on cloud nine both on and off the field. The Al Nassr star made history as he became the first person in the history of Instagram to reach six hundred million followers. Without a doubt, he has been on the top of the social media game and it seems like he wants to take no prisoners when it comes to his competitors. With the star reaching the grandiose landmark, Cristiano took a slight dig at his former Real Madrid teammate in a recent post.

His ex-Real Madrid teammate also crossed a big milestone as he put on an appreciation post. While the post was great for his fans, it certainly drew a humorous reaction from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos share a great camaraderie following their years together at Real Madrid. The duo have a great amount of love and respect for each other. Ramos recently reached sixty million followers on his Instagram account as he shared an appreciation post towards his fans, organizing a giveaway.

Cristiano Ronaldo, however, seemed to be in the mood for funny banter as he took a humourous dig at Ramos, claiming that the Spaniard was far behind him when it comes to followers. Commenting on Ramos’ post, Ronaldo wrote, “Te falta un cero para pillarme 😂.”, which translates to, “You need a zero to catch me 😂.”

Sergio Ramos has been without a club ever since his release from Paris Saint Germain. The Spaniard has multiple offers on the table from Saudi and Inter Miami. However, Ramos still wants to continue playing in Europe.

Turkish side Galatasaray is also reportedly waiting for Ramos’ signature. However, a deal hasn’t materialized between the two sides. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Sergio Ramos in the coming days. If a European deal fails to materialize, Ramos could be headed to Saudi Arabia or Inter Miami, with both parties interested in the player’s services.
