The Gunners have been flying high this season under Martin Odegaard, with the side currently at the top of the Premier League standings. However, it seems like not every Arsenal skipper was as lucky as the Norwegian. In an interview, the former Arsenal skipper Granit Xhaka talked about the disrespect he got from the club despite leading the side.
It is not the first incident in which the Gunners have had an issue with their club captain. Before Xhaka, the club had a well-documented split with ex-star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was stripped of his captaincy last and was shipped out of the club just a week later.
