Nonetheless, it cannot be denied that this loss is a significant setback for Manchester United. The defeat has dropped them to 8th place in the table, with 28 points and a significant 11-point gap behind the current table leaders, Arsenal. As for West Ham, they have overtaken the Red Devils and secured the 6th position.
