The Manchester United manager, speaking after a 1-0 win against Luton Town, said,“ Absolutely, even after all the setbacks we dealt with, we are still in a position near the top four. When we start to play well and when we get a team that is set for a couple of weeks and months… also other teams will get their setbacks and drop points. Now we won four of five games in the Premier League, which is good. We are in quite a good position if you see all the trouble we had. We are in a very good position. That is a reason to be optimistic, looking forward to the future and a step up in performances. “

Manchester United are also struggling with injuries this season
The Red Devils at the moment are missing Luke Shaw, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia due to injuries. All of them are long-term absentees at the moment. Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez had played an important role last season in helping United win matches with clean sheets. Sergio Reguillon and Harry Maguire have done well. But, it is clear that the backline is missing Maguire and Argentinian.
Casemiro is also a big miss in the midfield at the moment. The Brazilian provides stability in the midfield every time he plays. This is not the end of the injury list. It is because against Luton Town, Christian Eriksen, and Rasmus Hojlund had to leave the field because of injuries. Any scan results of the injuries will likely arrive in the next 24 hours. Ten Hag will hope that both of them can recover from their injuries in the international break so that the list does not have their names.
