When it comes to performances this season Al Nassr did start off the season poorly. But now, according to a former Premier League star Al Hilal is the better team.

Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has now spoken about which Saudi Pro League team has impressed him the most so far this season. The Al Ettifaq midfielder has captained the club in 2023/24 and they sit in 5th place in the SPL table. But now, he’s been speaking to the media about the competition in the SPL.

$10,680,000 rated Jordan Henderson thinks table toppers Al Hilal are the best team in the Saudi Pro League. According to this tweet on X from the Saudi media, when asked about which team caught his attention while suggesting it was a tough call, Henderson said:

Henderson’s comments about Al Hilal are justified. The club is currently unbeaten in the SPL and is top of the table, winning 5 and drawing 1 to accumulate 16 points so far this season. They also enjoyed their biggest win of the season against Al Riyadh.

Al Hilal win emphatically against Al Riyadh as Neymar makes debut

This was after the international break, where Neymar eclipsed Pele’s goal tally for Brazil. Al Hilal won emphatically on 15th September when they spanked Al Riyadh 6-1 as Neymar made his debut. Aleksandar Mitrovic opened the scoring with a penalty while Salem Aldawsari scored a brace.

Neymar assisted Malcom in the 83rd minute to make it 4-0 while he was also involved in winning the penalty in the 87th minute for Aldawsari to convert and make it 5-0.

Neymar was also involved in the 6th goal after his shot was saved only for Aldawsari to make it 6. Al Hilal since drew 1-1 to Navbahor in the AFC Champions League. Nevertheless, it looks like Al Hilal is a strong outfit and with Neymar now available, they could end up winning some silverware by the end of the season.
