World Cup is going on in full glory and it started with a memorable performance by Morgan Freeman and Jungkook. K-Pop fans are declaring Jungkook’s FIFA anthem ‘Dreamers’ the best. Dreamers broke the record by reaching the #1 spot on iTunes in the USA. However, there are many noteworthy FIFA songs in the history of the tournament. Pitbull just twitted him performing one such song back in the opening ceremony of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. 

Pitbull released the song named We Are One (Ole Ole), and performed it featuring Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte.

The song has a Brazilian folk music vibe and Pitbull’s voice made it better. Shakira has one of the most-known FIFA songs ever. ‘Waka Waka’ is still the most talked about FIFA song.

The United States hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup. The classic 90s American pop song was performed by Daryl Hall and Sounds of Blackness. The song consisted of high hopes for the glory of the United States of America.

1998- The cup of life

The Cup of Life or La Copa de la Vida was the title of the theme song of the 1998 France FIFA WC.

This song is a synonym for the term FIFA song. This song by Shakira has African Folk elements to the song. The 2010 World Cup was hosted by South Africa.

2014-We Are One (Ole Ole)

Pitbull released We Are One (Ole Ole) for the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup.

2018- live it up

Live It Up, by Nicky Jam, was the official song for the World Cup in Russia. Hollywood star Will Smith also joined the performance during the opening ceremony of the event.
