The Riyadh Season Cup has reached its climax with Saudi heavyweights Al Hilal hosting Al Nassr at home. Saudi Arabian officials have left no box unchecked to make this one of the biggest events of the year. The organizers went out of their way for the opening ceremony with the WWE Hall of Fame ‘The Undertaker’ walking down the pitch to unveil the trophy. Al Nassr skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was seen smiling at that time while The Undertaker walked up to the trophy.

The soccer veteran could be seen saying something to his teammate Raghed Al Najjar as he signaled towards the wrestler. Both Al Nassr and Al Hilal will look to give their all during the contest, with both teams hoping to earn the bragging rights over their arch-rivals.

Fans at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh were left stunned as the iconic gong reverberated as WWE icon Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker made a brief cameo. The decorated wrestler was present as the marquee attraction for the opening ceremony. He did his walk down the entrance before lifting the trophy. Cristiano Ronaldo could not contain his laughter and was seen chuckling while talking with his fellow teammate.

Cristiano Ronaldo is making his return to the field after being out of action for the past 4 weeks. The Al Nassr skipper was sidelined because of a muscular injury which saw his team abandon their scheduled tour of China in January. The Portuguese star was also absent from his team’s 6-0 win over Inter Miami in their opening clash of the Riyadh Season Cup.
