Real Madrid fans were sent jumping out of their seats last night, as the team secured a 2-0 win over Manchester United in a high-profile friendly game. Fans in attendance bore witness to the club’s new number 14 Joselu guide in a scintillating bicycle kick replicating Cristiano Ronaldo‘s iconic one against Juventus which sealed the win for the Los Blancos.

As Karim Benzema moved away to Al-Attihad during the transfer window, there were doubts that whether Joselu could fill in the big shoes. However, with a string of decent outings in consecutive appearances, it seems like Joselu has put the worries to rest.

Joselu channels inner Cristiano Ronaldo to sink Manchester United

With Jude Bellingham providing the team with the early lead, Real Madrid dominated the majority of the contest against Manchester United. Regardless, it was Joselu who sealed the game in the closing moments in pure Cristiano Ronaldo fashion.

The dying minutes of the game saw the 33-year-old perfectly position himself inside the box with Lucas Vasquez sending in a perfect cross towards the back post. Joselu was in the perfect position displaying tremendous acrobatics recreating Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic Champions League screamer against Juventus.

The 33-year-old was impressive with his finishing as he volleyed the ball past Andre Onana finding the confirmed winner for Real Madrid.

Jude Bellingham finds his first goal in Real Madrid colors

While Joselu had an impressive outing for the Spanish giants, everyone in the stadium had their eyes peeled for Jude Bellingham. Following his blockbuster transfer to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund for a whopping $114 million, the English starlet has been under a lot of scrutiny to justify the massive price tag.

Bellingham was yet to find the back of the net in Real Madrid colors before the game against Manchester United, and the midfielder took no time in finding his maiden goal for the Los Blancos. The 6th minute of the game saw Jude score with an audacious chip as he caught goalkeeper Andre Onana off the line.
