Last night saw one of the coolest soccer events taking place in the middle of London as the Sidemen returned for their annual charity match. As is the tradition, the Sidemen took on YouTube All-Stars for a charitable cause with this edition of the match raking up an impressive $3 million.

The match was won by the Sidemen 8-5 and rightly so. The YouTube All-Stars from the get-go looked clueless on the pitch with Chris MD and Chunkz being the saving grace for the team. JiDion, as mentioned above, had a brain fade moment while defending as instead of clearing a loose ball with his leg, the prankster caught it with his bare hands.

To make things worse, he left the ball back again leading Sidemen attacker Harry to take the ball and score past the keeper. This embarrassing moment by the YouTuber was met with immense jokes from soccer fans. Here are some of the best fan reactions.

For starters, the prankster was trolled by fans for mistaking soccer for American football.

Meanwhile, a few others continued the joke albeit with a different sport this time – Handball.

Suspended Against Favorite Victims, Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Decline’ Unlike Lionel Messi Highlighted After Firing Blank for Portugal

A fan hilariously likened JiDion’s effort with Maradona’s controversial ‘Hand of God’ moment against England.

Despite not even being involved in the match, Manchester United players were catching stray bullets from the trolls.

Finally, there was one comment which actually empathized with JiDion amidst all the trolling and fun.

While the rationale behind JiDion’s move is still unknown, fans wouldn’t be shocked if it’s revealed that he did it as a prank. After all, this is the same guy who had a haircut in the courtside while Nick Kyrgios was battling hard.

Last year, Nick Kyrgios faced off against Karen Khachanov in a thrilling five-set match at the US Open. Two sets into the game, the camera captured a very peculiar scene. While the two players engaged in a grueling match, a hairstylist was giving YouTuber JiDion a haircut as he sat among the first few rows of the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

What’s stunning is that JiDion, having been banned by Wimbledon just months ago, carried out this action. In July 2022, the prankster blew airhorns during the Wimbledon quarterfinal bout between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. This shambolic act by the YouTuber forced the Wimbledon committee to ban him for life.
