The Cherries didn’t have the best of games yesterday. However, they had something to cheer about as their new owners were present at the stadium, watching from the stands. Hollywood star Michael B. Jordan, who is also part of the consortium, was present at the game.

Chelsea had a good game after quite some time. The Blues were struggling to find form and rhythm in recent times. Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly appointed Graham Potter as Chelsea’s new manager a few months before the World Cup began.

An unlucky Christian Pulisic!

One such player who was struggling to find a place in Potter’s starting XI was USMNT star, Christian Pulisic. However, the USMNT star had a great game, although the score sheet did not reflect it. Pulisic had a chance to score twice during the game.

In the 11th minute, Pulisic was pulled down inside the penalty box in an attempt to stop him from scoring. While the fans and support staff thought it was a clear penalty, the referee wasn’t on the same page.

Pulisic got another opportunity which he converted. But the officials ruled out the USMNT star’s goal because there was another soft foul committed by his teammate Kai Havertz in the build-up. It’s best to consider Pulisic unlucky throughout the game.

However, the fans didn’t stop passionately chanting. Christian Pulisic had all the support he could ever ask for. At the halftime whistle, the Chelsea fans chanted ‘USA, USA’ in order to show their support for the USMNT star.

Pulisic was surprisingly included in Chelsea’s starting line-up. The American star hadn’t been in the best of form while heading into the World Cup for the US. With Potter giving him enough chances to try to make an impact, it seemed difficult that Pulisic would get another chance.

Why Did Christian Pulisic Suffer a Market Value Drop of Over $5 Million in 2022?

It had reached such a point where the tabloids linked the forward with a move away in January itself. There’s no doubt that Pulisic has the potential, but fans often criticize the USMNT star for lacking that final product, the addition of which can actually make him a world-class player.

Michael B. Jordan at a soccer game?

Fans spotted Hollywood star, Michael B. Jordan, in the stands. The 35-year-old star was part of the new consortium that took over AFC Bournemouth earlier this month. Sky Sports valued the takeover to be around £100 million ($120 million).

Jordan has also reached out to the Bournemouth fans after the takeover. He posted a picture of himself wearing the Bournemouth jersey. The post also had a caption that said ‘Honored. See you on the pitch’
