The unreal form of Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah this season has made it challenging for the fans to praise the other players. It is also because fans compare almost all players to the aforementioned dynamic duo. But Premier League star Nathan Redmond feels Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma is currently the best player in the Premier League.

He stated,” I have really enjoyed watching Bissouma this year. It was a difficult start for him, as he broke his ankle last year. But I think he’s just come on leaps and bounds since obviously joining from Brighton. He’s a quality player from the stuff I’ve seen this year. I think he’s been a top draw.”

After spending a lot of time on the sidelines, Bissouma has come of age this season. Spurs brought him in last season from Brighton & Hove Albion to solve their midfield problems. But, his injury problems meant that he failed to make a significant impact under Antonio Conte. But, the arrival of Ange Postecgoulou has assisted him. He has started 15 out of the 20 Premier League matches. Moreover, the midfielder has missed five games because of suspension.

The Premier League giants will no doubt miss his services due to the African Cup of Nations. As for Erling Haaland, Manchester City will hope his potential return can inspire another brilliant second half of the season.
