The 2022 FIFA World Cup continues to deliver as another incredible game came to an end. Portugal registered a huge win over African giants Ghana in a closely-fought game in Doha. Cristiano Ronaldo led the attack for the former Euro champions against Ghana. He opened the scoring for his national team through a penalty. Joao Felix and Rafael Leao scored the next two goals to hand Portugal a big win in Group H.

Ghana gave a tough fight and came close to equalizing on several occasions. However, Ghana’s second goal made it to the headlines, despite the team’s loss.

Andre Ayew scored Ghana’s opening goal of the World Cup, which came as an equalizer. But Portugal scored two back-to-back goals to lead 3-1. However, Ghana had different plans and scored their 2nd goal with just mins left before the full-time whistle.

Goals at the World Cup are always a moment to cherish for the player as well as the fans. However, in the case of Ghana’s 2nd goal, fans didn’t like Bukari’s celebration. There was just a minute left for full-time and Bukari hit the ‘siu’ celebration.

But his teammates didn’t join him in celebration and took the ball from the net to quickly start the game. However, fans were quick to notice this and trolled Bukari for mocking Ronaldo‘s celebration despite being in a losing position.

Osman Bukari scored an important goal for Ghana with just a minute left for regular time. He went on to celebrate with ‘Siu’ and mocked Ronaldo. However, it wasn’t a good time to celebrate, as Ghana was still a goal behind the former Euro champions. Fans were quick to notice this and reacted to it on social media.

This didn’t age well. Ghana went on to lose the game by a solitary goal and now sits last on the Group H table. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal will face Uruguay in their next game of the competition. A win in their next game could boost their chances of Round of 16 spots.

Ghana, on the other side, will face Asian giants South Korea, which managed to hold off Uruguay in their opening game. However, the Black stars are still in the tournament and a win against South Korea would give them massive confidence ahead of their final group game against Uruguay.
