The Beckham family owns three jaw-dropping homes. Their main residence is located in London. The second home is a five-bedroom penthouse in Miami and the most exciting property they’ve owned is a whopping £6 million penthouse in the Cotswolds.

Let’s take a deep dive into the home of David Beckham home in the Cotswolds. The former soccer legend and his wife own a gigantic estate in the Cotswolds. Their residence has a massive open-plan living room along with a dining room. The feature that stands out about the living room is that it has exposed brick walls along with an open fireplace. Their residence also has a private en-suite with luxury wooden walls, sinks, and cupboards.

The glamour does not end there. The English soccer legend recently built a 5-A-Side soccer pitch on the property. Not to forget, this soccer pitch has been made over a tennis court. The celebrity couple spent about £30,000 in 2018 to build the tennis court.

Romeo Beckham wanted to become a professional tennis player. To make their son’s dream come true, David and Victoria gifted him a tennis court. To better his game, Romeo had one-on-one training sessions with greats of the tennis universe like Grigor Dimitrov and Andy Murray. However, Romeo’s interest in the sport faded away and that’s what gave rise to the brand-new soccer pitch.

Their garden includes an outdoor seating arrangement with a big wooden canopy. The residence also includes a luxurious gym. Over the lockdown, Beckham took up a new hobby. The soccer legend posted a video on his Instagram of him building the new beehive. However, it looked like more of a DIY project taken up by Beckham.

Beckham’s idea to build a haven for bats and birds

On July 2021, the Beckham family finally got the approval to build a barn for bats and birds. However, the celebrity couple was required to show proof that the new construction would definitely offer shelter to the nocturnal mammals. The celebrity couple was given a green light with a lot of conditions. Frizell-Armitage, an officer from the Council Biodiversity had initially not approved the plan for the simple reason that the couple did not hold enough technical knowledge on this subject.

Some of the main conditions included that a permanent box needs to be built for bats and birds respectively. Creating a hedgerow that was specifically built for new native species was a must. However, the couple would need to submit a five-year maintenance plan after getting permission. Installing any sort of external lighting that would endanger wildlife was prohibited.
