VIDEO: Grammy Winner David Guetta Goes “Crazy” in Doha as Kylian Mbappe Powers France to FIFA World Cup 2022 Knockouts

France booked their place in the knockout stages of the FIFA Qatar World Cup after a close win over Denmark. Kylian Mbappe came in clutch as he scored two goals to send France to the top of Group D. Mbappe now has three goals and 1 assist to his name in the ongoing World Cup in two games.

He now has a total of 7 World Cup goals in two editions before the age of 24, equaling Pele’s record. French DJ David Guetta was also in Qatar for his performance during the FIFA fan fest. He watched closely as Les Bleus overcame Denmark to top the Group D table.

Kylian Mbappe’s 2nd half brace was enough to help the French side bag all three points against a firm Denmark side. He was rightfully awarded the Man of the Match for the game.

David Guetta was in attendance for the game and shared some clips of him celebrating the victory. However, after the game, he also had to perform at the Aravia music festival in Doha, Qatar. During the performance, he hailed France’s victory in front of his fans.

EssentiallySports was at David Guetta’s concert in Doha yesterday. Before starting his performance at the Aravia fest, Guetta celebrated the French national team’s victory over Denmark.

“It’s crazy today,” Guetta said. “It’s the World Cup and France won today.”

Now, in just two games, he has 3 goals and has equaled Pele’s world cup goal-scoring record before the age of 24. If age permits, he could play three more World Cups. Mbappe has his eyes on the WC goal-scoring record held by Miroslav Klose. However, for now, he is focused on defending the World Cup trophy with France.
