

In a shambolic turn of events, Manchester City fans were subjected to an attack by a group of assailants in a pub in Belgrade. City will face Crvena Zvezda in their sixth group-stage Champions League encounter later tonight. The local police have started looking for the armed assailants, with the video going viral on social media.
The confrontation between two sets of fans was recorded by the security cameras inside the pub. It has been reported that over thirty Red Star fans entered the establishment wearing masks before attacking a group of Manchester City fans who were sitting inside.

Things turned sour last night for a set of Manchester City fans. According to reports, around twenty of the club’s supporters were assaulted by a masked group of Crvena Zvezda fans. While the police are yet to identify the assailants, it has been stated the attackers were allegedly from the Red Star Army.

Serbian media outlet Telegraf has provided more details on the assault, stating Manchester City fans were struck on their heads and bodies by the assailants, before those responsible for the attack fled towards Belgrade city center.
On the pitch, Manchester City has remained unbeaten so far in the Champions League. The team will look to maintain their hundred percent success record in the group stages as they take on Crvena Zvezda. However, the team will miss out on the services of Erling Haaland, who has been ruled out of the game due to an injury.
