Last year it was PSG while this time it’s Al Hilal. For the second successive time, Cristiano Ronaldo has fallen short in his conquest to win the Riyadh Season Cup. This time, he didn’t have the best of matches and was criticized by many. However, in an unexpected turn of events, CR7’s son has also been on the receiving end of getting taunted after Al Nassr’s defeat. Quite strange, considering his recent historic achievement.

A video has emerged of Cristiano Jr. with his Al Nassr U13 teammates. Recorded by someone on a height, Jr. was walking off the pitch. However, it was the act of a security guard that caught the attention. Standing at the side of the player’s alley, the guard appeared to mock the teen. Just as Cristiano Ronaldo’s son approached, the guard suddenly made a hand gesture. Although not exactly clear, it seemed to resemble a ‘Cup’. It likely referred to the Riyadh Season Cup title that CR7 & Al Nassr couldn’t win. Also, he could’ve been referring to an Al Hilal celebration.

Regardless, a very strange gesture from an adult to a kid, especially considering the youngster’s recent success. It was just a few days ago that Cristiano Jr. helped his team win the U13 Saudi League title. Notably, this was the U13 side’s first trophy in their history. The youngster who wears the #7 jersey, will no doubt be disappointed by the guard’s gesture. However, at least things on the pitch are panning out well for the teen, unlike his father.

Cristiano Ronaldo had just recovered from an injury and was expected to lead the senior team’s attack. However, he had a match to forget and cut a frustrated figure throughout. This even extended into the award ceremony as CR7 let his emotions get the better of him.
