The drama of Shakira and Gerard Pique‘s breakup has been going on for nearly ten months. It all started when Pique was found to have been unfaithful to Shakira, and the couple announced their separation in June of last year. Since then, the saga has been loaded with controversies.

Many fans have praised her creativity and found the track to be highly entertaining. Bars in the rap, shocking revelations, and the music have just topped it off and made it a worldwide hit. After much ado, the track was also met with some criticism. One such voice was raised by a popular Spanish journalist, Jomari Goyso.
Shakira faced criticism for the diss track
The track is a clear display of Shakira’s fiery reaction to the hurt caused by her ex. However, Jomari Goyso was not left impressed. Just a few days after the song was released, Goyso debuted his complaint against the song’s ideals claiming in a video.

“Now it’s a woman singing to a man, but what would happen if that song was made by Piqué for Shakira? Would people think the same or not?”, Goyso asked. “I’ve seen a lot of people saying that it’s art, well yes, there are many ways to make art, even p*rn is art,” he added.

The journalist later went on to explain his position and made it clear that he was not partial to any party involved in the saga. “For me when art attacks another person it is no longer art, it is revenge made art,” he explained. He didn’t just stop there as he further denounced Shakira, saying, “At the end of the day, when I heard the song, I said: ‘Again with the same victimization”.
He also believes that their children are the only ones affected by this, and it’s not “worth it”. The diss track is certainly a groundbreaking one and has gained a lot of fame beyond the Queen of Latin Pop’s fandom.
