Although the last few months haven’t been easy for Gerard Pique and Shakira, just a few days ago, the ex-celebrity couple came to an agreement surrounding their kids’ custody. While the decision was taken for the well-being of Milan and Sasha, someone hasn’t been happy with this agreement. That person is none other than Pique’s girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, whom the kids know only as their ‘father’s employee’, and her unhappiness is most likely because of the restrictions put by Shakira.

The Colombian pop star recently confronted the soccer veteran and questioned his efforts. The last few months have been chaotic not only for the ex-couple but for their kids too. In the end, the retired defender accepted everything and personally picked up his kids from Miami.

That’s because of the implications this agreement will have on her. One of the main clauses in the separation agreement prohibits Pique’s partner from coming in any contact with Milan and Sasha. That’s likely one of the main reasons why she’s upset.

Since the beginning, the Colombian icon has wanted her to stay away from the children for obvious reasons. In fact, the minors don’t even really know about her actual identity. Reportedly, they still think that Chia Marti is their ‘daddy’s employee’. Without a doubt, they’re kept unaware of the reality for their own well-being. Multiple times, Shakira has asked for privacy from the cameras when she’s been with her kids.

The Latin American singer will continue to live in Miami with her kids where they will go to school and lead a normal life. Their father can now visit them every ten days. Also, the retired defender would be able to spend 70% of the next summer break with his kids. Recent times haven’t been easy for Pique too. Mainly because he needed to make a few tough choices in the last few months.

Milan and Sasha’s paternal side of the family insisted that they must attend the wedding. Pique was due to drop the kids back to Miami a few days prior. He did ask for an extension but the Colombian icon straightaway denied him. Multiple reasons for such a decision by the music artist. The first and the most obvious one was because of Clara Chia Marti’s presence at the family function.

Secondly, the Waka-Waka singer did not like Marc’s fiancé because she reportedly played a vital role in hiding Pique’s secret affair. The Barcelona legend had to make a hard choice between his girlfriend and kids. He ended up choosing her and dropping his children back to Miami. Most recently, Shakira had a few reservations during the summer break too. She questioned Pique’s commitment to spending time with his kids.
