His tweet read (translated via Google), “Al-Ettifaq fans, I hope you have complete confidence that there is no one greater than the entity. Whoever does not deserve his presence in my era will leave, regardless of name, position, and influence. While he has opted not to disclose the player’s name, there is little left to guess as to who is being referred to. Moreover, he gave a word of assurance to his club’s worried supporters.

He said, “I have great confidence in my work team and the loyal players, and god willing, we will return with victories and championships.” Interestingly, the Chairman’s tweet has since been removed and he later claimed that his account was hacked. Jordan Henderson who was signed for $15.4 million, has a contract running until 2026. He also commands one of the highest wages in the Middle East.
