He got a partner in Ryan Reynolds through Instagram chats, and one Zoom meeting with Wrexham Supporters Trust got them ownership of the club.

Since the Hollywood takeover for $2.5 million on February 9, 2021, the club has seen a 300% rise in the valuation. The docuseries Welcome To Wrexham, sponsorship deals like TikTok and Expedia, and the rise in the fanbase have been the reasons behind the massive increase in valuation. 

Now there’s another big news for the Red Dragons after getting a promotion. Odds favor them to make another promotion next season ahead of some famous League Two clubs.

Wrexham AFC favorites to achieve another promotion

Wrexham will play in League Two after 15 years of absence. Another promotion is on their mind, and their owners are ready to invest in the squad that can compete in the fourth division. It will be an uphill task, though. They will go into the season to finish in the top seven to have a shot at promotion to League One.

The club got two new sponsors for them. Betty Buzz, a famous beverage company, will be the new training kit sponsor for the club. The company will also have its name on the sleeves of the jerseys of the women’s team. Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, owns the company and will replace Aviation Gin.
