Former NFL megastar JJ Watt along with Kealia Watt have invested in the Championship goliaths.

Ever since the NFL veteran shared the news, he has been very invested in the issues and performance of the club. He recently reacted to one big rumor debunked on his social media. Despite having a blast of a season, fans rumored that the manager Vincent Kompany will be leaving the championship winners.

However, yesterday, Burnley announced that Kompany has signed a five-year contract with his current club. This means that all the rumors now have proven to be fake.

JJ Watt on debunked rumors

The NFL veteran and the newest member in the Burnley ownership group shared the news of the manager re-signing on his Instagram stories. Along with the post made by the team, he shared a statement made by the manager about re-signing.

Kompany said, “Burnley and Turf Moor felt right pretty much from the start, so it also feels right to sign for the next five years.” Sharing this statement by his team’s manager Watt on his stories wrote, “But all the rumors said he was going“.
