Spanish GP 2019: Nico Hulkenberg Breaks his Front Wing in Qualifying

As if things could not get any worse for the Renault F1 team, Nico Hulkenberg crashed out of the Spanish Grand Prix qualifying session. The German driver slid off the circuit while on a lap and hit the barriers.

Fortunately for him, his front wing was the only casualty of the impact, and his suspension was saved. Nico Hulkenberg was able to rejoin the circuit and limp back to the pitlane for repairs. Luckily, the team were able to fit a new front wing and make necessary repairs and send him on his way.

Currently, The German driver is back on track and racing once again, to the team’s relief. Now, he has a chance to escape from the bottom five drivers and try and avoid relegation. It does not seem like Hulkenberg has suffered any ill effects from the incident.
